Standard countermeasure against galloping
Loose Spacer (LS) is a bundle spacer for overhead lines. LSs are designed to aerodynamically suppress conductor galloping. LSs have been used widely in Japan for many years as a standard countermeasure against galloping. They have also been adopted in the USA in recent years.
